The calculation, in plain English

For each separately filed mark and each class, count the selected goods or services. The first ten items are within the base package. Each item above ten adds USD 10 for that mark and class. Add the subtotals across classes, then account for the number of separately filed marks.

The estimator uses the published package total; government charges are not added a second time to that package. This is different from a calculator showing government fees alone.

What the price describes

The public registration schedule describes a filing package including search, preparation, filing and application tracking for the agreed scope. The actual mark, applicant, specification and services must be identified in a written quotation before payment.

The website fee schedule and portal configuration were checked on 24 October 2026. This calculator is a dated planning reference; a later change in the published fee or scope should be reflected in the final quotation.

What is outside this estimate

Refusal review, opposition, invalidation, renewal, assignment and enforcement are separate services. Complex evidence, special documents, third-party charges and transfer fees may also require clarification. A registration package is not an undertaking to win a disputed proceeding.

Do not compare two headline prices until you have compared their scope. Ask whether the quotation covers the same number of marks, classes, items, search work, translations and reporting tasks.

How to request a usable written quote

• Provide each mark exactly as intended for filing.
• Identify the proposed owner and where that owner is established.
• Include selected goods or describe products in ordinary English if you are unsure.
• Explain any deadline, earlier application or existing China registration.
• Ask for the total, included work and separately quoted proceedings in writing.
